On June 23, the 11th package of restrictive measures of the European Union against Russia was published, which includes EU Reg. 2023/1214 which amends Reg. (EU) n. 833/2014 and EU Reg. 2023/1215 and EU Reg. 2023/1216 which amend and implement Reg. (EU) n. 269/2014

9th package of European sanctions against Russia

 The military escalation of the Russian government has led the Council of the European Union to adopt new measures, in order to limit Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC), the UK tax authority, is replacing the IT platform currently used for customs clearance, called CHIEF (Customs Handling of Import and EXport.

On April 9, 2022, the European Council approved the fifth package of sanctions against Russia and Belarus.

The rules of origin have been updated with EU regulation no. 1934/2021 to implement the entry into force of the 2022 harmonized system.
